Bob Ramsey humbly refers to his 24-year career as associate superintendent with the St Louis Park school district as time spent as “the backup guy.” But everybody who knows Ramsey knows his life is defined by much more. Ramsey has written more than 30 books for educators and parents.

Citizens Independent Bank has been an institution in St. Louis Park for an impressive 64 years.  From humble beginnings, Citizens has become a full-service bank with assets of $300 million and branches throughout the area.  

More than 75 volunteers made 2,000 sandwiches in less than an hour and a half for the 363 Days Food program, an organization that feeds the hungry and homeless in the Twin Cities, during an event hosted by SeilerSchindel, PLLC.

Virtual OffiCenters, 2013 winner of Global Workspace Association’s “Most Innovative Workspace” award, provides office space for any kind of business. “We get everything from attorneys to CPAs,” says owner Lori Spiess.

It’s waste not, want not when it comes to used books at Half-Price Books in Miracle Mile—what’s not sold is donated. “We’re always more happy to donate than we are to recycle,” assistant manager Travis Lennox says.

For the Friends of the St. Louis Park Library, the Hennepin County building isn’t just a place to check out books, do research, or use computers. It’s a haven for book-lovers, and that community has been developing under their supervision for fifty years.
